Albies! Albies! Albies!

The plan is to head down to North Carolina after the Martha’s Vineyard Derby. Following the 2005 season in the northeast I went down to N.C. to check out the fall season fishing down there. The fishing was SICK! The birds were so thick it looked like Armageddon! Several people in our group caught false albacore from shore, and those of us who did not still experienced huge schools of albies within a few feet of us chasing bait fish. This fishery is one that I have yet to fully experience, I am anxiously awaiting the 2006 fall season in North Carolina!

M.V. Derby

     I will be fishing the Martha’s Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby as an end of season treat for my clients. In the 2005 season, 2 daily Bonita awards were won by clients aboard Got Stryper. The derby is a treat to participate in, taking full advantage of the short fall fishing season in the northeast.

A reduced rate will be charged for derby fishing due to the nature of the event. Come for one day or for the entire derby, it’s all up to you!

I will be happy to provide you with information about accommodations. Accommodations are subject to availability, but I ensure you I will do my best to provide you with a place to stay. I can provide rates for room/board at a later date.
