Welcome to Got Stryper Charters, fishing Cape Cod & the Islands.  We are based out of Chatham, MA at the “elbow” of the cape. Chatham is home to Monomoy Island, a seven mile long island well known for its fishing.  With Nantucket Sound to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Monomoy has a unique placement in area allowing both cold and warm water to converge in a very natural and isolated area.

Mystical Nantucket Island lies to the South of Monomoy.  When approaching Nantucket by boat, the first thing you see is Great Point Lighthouse, a bleached stone lighthouse that truly emits a true “New England” vibe.  Farther down the coast of the island lies Sankaty, home of the biggest bluefish you will ever see.  Sankaty is known for truly “world-class” blue fishing.  At the end of August the typical bluefish here will be over 10lbs. Bluefish up to 20 POUNDS can regularly be found here and this area has the potential to hold world record fly / line class fish. Break a world record and the trip is on me!

Moving westward down the coast of Nantucket lie both Tuckernuck and Muskeget.  In the later part of the summer season these areas are full of Bonita.  Bonita is truly a prized catch in New England, as they are very fast, selective, and highly sought after game fish that doubles as table-fare.  Bonita can be one of the best tasting fish if prepared correctly.

Back to the mainland and across the Cape lies Cape Cod Bay.  Some very large bass reside in the bay, making it yet another very desirable fishing spot.  If the water kicks up on the south side and is too rough for travel, or the fishing is hot in the bay, trips may be moved there.  There is always a lee wind to be found and an area to be fished!  I will make sure your trip is as comfortable and enjoyable as weather and the fishing will permit!

Tight lines,
