Meet our Charter Fishing Cape Cod Captains
Captain Alan Hastbacka
Capt. Alan started Got Stryper Charter Fishing Cape Cod in 2004 at the age of twenty-two. He has been a full time captain for the past thirteen seasons and is the owner operator of Got Stryper Charters. Capt. Alan has been fishing Monomoy since he was a young boy. After starting Got Stryper Charters, Capt. Alan explored new areas to learn more about the fishing environment around Cape Cod and the Islands. He has explored areas from the Brewster flats to east of Chatham. His time spent observing tides, moon phases, weather and many other factors have helped him put clients on fish by learning the interworkings of the vast distance of water over the past decade.
Captain Jason LaMagna
Capt. Jason is a 100 Ton USCG Masters Captain and possesses over 40 years of experience fishing all of Cape Cod’s waters, both recreationally and commercially. He caught his first striped bass at the age of 5 in the late 70’s and has been passionately chasing everything that swims in Cape Cod waters ever since. He has extensive nautical and environmental knowledge of Cape Cod Bay, Barnstable Harbor, Nantucket Sound, and Chatham. Capt. Jason strives to make sure each and every trip is a fun and memorable experience.

“Captain Jason put us on the fish all morning. We started hitting strypers about 30 minutes out and limited with in the first hour. Jason kept on fish all morning…it was non stop action. First mate Gillian kept the action going by getting fish off our tackle fast and then cleaned all the fish on the boat before we made it back to the dock. I’m from Texas and fish Port Aransas and Rockport but have to say this is by far the best trip I have ever had. I highly recommend Captain Jason and Gillian.”
